Who is Guidance for?

Guidance was created to make learning software super simple. It was built to help teams navigate new or complex processes directly in the flow of work, so they can get sh*t done faster, and get ramped up on new tools quickly.

Who can access my Tango via Guidance?

When is Guidance best?

Because Guidance was created for users in your Workspace, Guidance works best when you’re capturing web-based processes for internal users.

We recommend users pin the Tango extension, because Tango will automatically recommend available workflows on any website you visit, and open Guidance directly from the extension.

🖊️ Callouts & Editing are your friend!

Tango makes capturing processes simple, but we know that adding context and details often makes the difference in getting someone all the way through a how-to guide. A little extra effort can go a long way in setting your Sidekicks up for success!

<aside> 💡 Are you using a specific contact record or ticket to demonstrate your process? Edit step descriptions, so they apply to any record! 🔗 Tango’s AI can recognize Flexible Steps when you edit a step title. When you type during Capture, Tango records what you enter into a field* so an unedited Tango will prompt a user to copy the text and select the specific record or ticket you used as an example. Editing the steps helps provide clarity, and Guidance will still highlight the correct fields in a different record.
